Al Bustan Rotana
The hotel is a few kilometres from the airport. Doesn't have a free shuttle, but the taxi ride is short and cheap. This five-star, and affordable, hotel is a good choice for those who want a little more than what airport hotels offer.
Al Bustan Rotana has 275 rooms, a swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi, five restaurants and a café. It also offers a shuttle to the City Centre Shopping Mall. Not Dubai's flashiest or biggest mall, but it works well if you need to shop between flights. Prices start from around €900 per night.

Le Meridien Dubai
If you want to stay close to the airport, but still get a dose of Dubai's renowned hotelyx, then book the Royal Club at Le Meridian Dubai. This part of the hotel is newly built.
The rooms are large, comfortable and have a jacuzzi. The Royal Club has its own rooftop pool and lounge with a sumptuous breakfast buffet, afternoon tea and happy hour with free drinks in the evening. Airport transfers are included.
