Helicopter in Dubai - how it works
You will be picked up at your hotel and the car will take you to the helipad located at the Atlantis The Palm hotel, at the far end of the Palm Jumeirah.
In the helicopter company's lounge, a security briefing is held and you may leave personal items in a locker. A camera may be taken on board the helicopter.
The tour usually begins with the pilot steering into the city and showing famous landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest skyscraper, and the Burj al Arab, the well-known sail-shaped luxury hotel. The pilot will guide you and tell you what you see.
Before you land, take a trip out to sea to see the much-vaunted giant project The World, where 300 artificial islands have been created using the world map as a model.
Everything was perfect. Great service and awesome experience.
Consider this
- You must bring your passport.
- The helicopter may be shared with other parties, it can hold six people.
- Children under the age of two are not allowed.
- Regular fare applies to all passengers, child fares are not available.
- If you weigh more than 100 kg, you must buy an extra seat.
More practical information is available at the time of booking.
If you want an even cooler experience, it is possible to combine the helicopter tour with a desert safari on the same booking. More information and price can be found here.
